Hi there! I’m Alex Fosse. I write science fiction and fantasy stories, which always have at least one, gnarly creature in them. Even when the stories start clean, something comes scampering onto the page.

In a past life, I wrote nonfiction books on fun stuff like banking and taxes. I’ve also penned over 50 book reviews for The Seattle Times.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually in the kitchen. My sourdough starter is five years old, and counting. I’m also an avid vinyl collector. I’ve managed to attract a few boxes of records over the years, though these don’t yet rival the stacks of old books. It’s fantastic to live in our digital age, but I still often prefer the solidity of analog.
